Terms and Conditions

Location: Helsinki, Finland
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Participant”) and inXso (the “Organiser”), a Finnish entity based in Tampere, regarding your registration and participation in the MedTech Innovation ’26 Helsinki Summit (the “Summit”) scheduled for 15–16 March 2026 in Helsinki, Finland.
By completing your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
1. Registration and Admission
1.1 Verification: Attendance is subject to the Organiser’s approval. The Organiser reserves the right to verify professional credentials for specific ticket tiers, including Investor and Media passes.
1.2 Access Credentials: Access is personal and non-transferable.
1.3 Age Restriction: Participation is limited to individuals aged 18 and over, unless explicitly authorised in writing by the Organiser.
2. Fees and Payment
2.1 Pricing: Fees are payable in Euros (€) and are inclusive of catering and matchmaking app access as specified for each tier.
2.2 Payment Completion: Registrations are not confirmed until full payment has been received. Incomplete forms without payment completion will not be accepted.

3. Cancellations, Refunds, and No-Show Policy
3.1 Standard Cancellation Fees: Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to hello@mti25.com. The following schedule applies

90 days or more before 16 March 2026: 25% cancellation fee.

30 to 89 days before the event: 50% cancellation fee.

Less than 30 days before the event: No refunds issued.

3.2 No-Show Fee: To manage logistical costs and seat allocation, complimentary ticket holders (Investors and Media) who fail to attend without at least 48 hours’ prior notice will be invoiced a €250 No-Show Fee.

3.3 Substitutions: Substitutions from the same organisation are permitted if requested at least 7 days before the event. The original registrant must not have used any portion of the pass.
4. Programme Changes and Rescheduling
4.1 Schedule Adjustments: The Organiser makes every effort to deliver the programme as represented. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution or rescheduling of speakers and topics without liability.
5. Intellectual Property and Recordings
5.1 Ownership: Intellectual property in presentations and pitch decks remains the property of the owner.
5.2 Licence to Record: By participating, you grant the Organiser a worldwide, royalty-free licence to record your image and voice on film and audio.
5.3 Public Domain Caution: Presenters acknowledge that public pitching enters the public domain, which may impact future patent filings if the technology is not already protected.
6. Force Majeure
6.1 Relief of Obligations: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to “Force Majeure Events” beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, war, government lockdowns, or major infrastructure failure.
6.2 Notification: Any party claiming force majeure must notify the counterparty without delay.
7. Code of Conduct and Professional Safety
7.1 Zero Tolerance: The Summit is a 100% inclusive experience. Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind is strictly prohibited.
7.2 Enforcement: Misconduct is grounds for immediate exclusion from the venue without a refund.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
8.1 Compliance: Personal data is processed in accordance with the Finnish Data Protection Act and the GDPR.
8.2 Data Sharing: Sharing contact details via authorised lead scanning during the event constitutes well-informed consent for the sponsor to use that data.
8.3 Retention: Data collected for the 2026 event will be deleted or anonymised after three years, unless required longer for legal or tax purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 General Disclaimer: To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, the Organiser and its partners (including HealthTech Finland, MedTech World, and Propellerhat Management) disclaim liability for indirect or consequential losses or injury occurring at the venue, unless caused by gross negligence.
9.2 Maximum Liability: The Organiser’s total liability for any claim is limited to the registration fee paid by the participant.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1 Finnish Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Finland.
10.2 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.
